 GEMARIAH'S CHRONICLES  From the desk of our Founder Welcome to our chronicles of information that may or may not interest you. But we are pretty sure if you take the time to read and really think about what your reading, and also think more about others, like your children, family, friends (all your love ones), and even those that we are commanded to love the same as we love ourselves. We are very sure that you'll want to make a change in the areas of your life, even if it's as little as being a small voice for someone else, or saying something meaningfully kind. Think about it, if we treat those we love so much with an abundance of love and kindness, it's what's expected right? So what about those we hardly know or don't know at all, or better yet, how about our enemies? Can we learn to treat them like we treat those we love, and live for everyday? Because that's where the true blessing comes in, that's going above, and beyond. Or are we still going to be hypocrites? You know, a phony! Lots of people pretend to have virtues, morals, and even religious beliefs and principles, but they're just full of air, and not possessing any of what they say, and they pretend for show, accolades, and so forth, and that my dear, makes us hypocrites, because we say one thing, and do another! I love, you, but it's just empty words! We don't truly know love, until we get to know LOVE HIMSELF, and for those of you who don't know who that is, "JESUS" Yes God is love, and I'm not talking abou teros love, (Love between a Husband-man and Wife-woman), or lovephileo (A brotherly love), or what I call faucet love (I loved you last night, but you pissed me off this morning, so I don't love you right now! Get with me later, and things might change!(lol). One of us might be dead later? hmmmmmm, now that's a eye-opening thought, you woke-up this morning, you didn't speak to your husband or wife because they upset you or something like that, so you decided not talk to them until maybe this evening or when you got in bed tonight(maybe). It's 11:00 AM the phone rings at work, your husband or wife has been in terrible car accident, or maybe had an heart-attack, or something tragic like that, and before you can get to them THEIR GONE! This is why we need what is called AgapeLove, which is the love of God! True love never fails, it doesn't remind us over, and over our mistakes, love is always gentle, love is always kind, and it's good all the time, not just sometime, love never leaves us, nor forsakes us, love is patient, love keeps on loving, even when we don't feel like we should be loved, or be loving, and this my dear is the love of GOD! Now while I pray for all people as well as marriages, families and relationships, we know all too well that this type of thing can and does happen! So my precious people let's stop saying with our lips, so many words we don't mean, because our heart is very far from what we say, now I do know that there are a few of us that mean exactly what we say, and that's good if were speaking genuine love and kindness, and I'm not just talking about, again our words, but our deeds, what we do, as well as what we say. Love is an action word, if you really love me, it will tell in how you treat me! If we would just take the time to get to know ourselves, and understand this, you can't know yourself without knowing "JESUS" , He knows everything about you, He created you, who know more about something that has been made, created, invented or whatever you what to call it, except for the one who has done the creation? Think about it! Have you ever had a great idea? Who else is going to take your idea, and do more, or know more than you, besides GOD ALMIGHTY? No one! The LORD GOD knows all, He sees all, meaning that He is ever present wherever you may be, and He has all power! Well I just thought I would give you a little something to think about, and maybe something meaningfully constructive you can do while getting a little education along with a little homework, because I know most of us need toget a whole lot of things RIGHT(In Order)! SAD, BUT TRUE Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange, or green That's no offense; its a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud is a serious vice. For praying in public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks And pierce our noses, tongues, and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And an 'unwed daddy' our Senior King It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the ten commandments are not allowed, No word of God must reach this crowd. Its scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess, So, Lord this silent plea I make: Whatever happens, My soul please take! author unknown |
If you are a true Christian thenyou should completely understand what this poem is all about. For too long we have been sitting back, going about our merry lives, without even realizing what's going on around us. The enemy has been putting his evil plan to practice, and we are so wrapped up in the affairs of our own selfish lives, that we don't know the extent of damage that has been caused. I encourage all true Christians, to read the book of Joel. Read about how the locust invaded and attacked the land and how much devastation and destruction they caused. If we don't wake up out of our slumber, and stop being fearful, the consequences are going to be detrimental to our Christian walk, and even more so to our children and grandchildren.
